Welcome to the Stateview Prison Wiki! If you don’t know what a wiki is, it’s a website that holds articles that anyone can edit. Before you get started, please read the Wiki Rules. Please note that breaking any of these rules will result in punishments. If you are new to Fandom, read the Help articles to get used to how things work. This page will go over the Wiki rules, follow them at all times and the Wiki staff will make sure to take no action against you.

Rules list

Rule Description Punishment
Random Pages Do not make random pages unrelated to Stateview. Pages should only be about core features of the game. Warning
Change description When you make an edit, please say what you changed in the text box in the bottom of the editor, as it makes moderation a lot easier. Wiki Staff don’t need to list a reason, but it is still recommended. Reminder
Name Files Please name files when you upload them Reminder
Vandalism Do not vandalise pages by adding random stuff to them or deleting large sections of them. Temporary or Permanent block depending on situation.
Threatening Do not threaten staff or other members of the wiki because you disagree 5 day block
Disrespect Respect other people's opinions! Do not be mean about stuff they said in discussions or something they did wrong in a page. Warning
Impersonation Do not impersonate a staff member of the wiki or higher ranks than yourself in game OR any department you are not part of. You may also not impersonate any Stateview Prison staff member such as a Discord or in game moderator!

Permanent Block/Report to Fandom staff.
Begging/Asking for ranks. Do not ask for ranks of any sort. Staff applications will be opened when the community grows to an amount where staff members are needed. You will need to answer questions and meet edit requirements. Warning
Profanity Profanity is not permitted. Warning/deletion of post
Major profanity This is a more severe infraction compared to Profanity. It is issued when a user uses an extreme amount of profanity. 1 week block
NSFW NSFW is strictly disallowed on our wiki and you will be blocked on sight. 2 week block for first offense, permanent for second.
Sensitive Topics Avoid discussing sensitive topics including deaths, wars, politics or religion. Warning
In Game Moderations Moderations to your account in game have no connection to the wiki. If you are caught whining about a ban then you will be punished accordingly. Appeal your moderations on the official administration discord server instead. Warning
Deletion of Pages If you feel a page must be deleted add it to the "Candidates for Deletion" category N/A
Advertising Advertising on our wiki about outside things is strictly disallowed. Deletion of post/1 day block.
Flooding/Spamming Do not flood any chat or spam a message repeatedly. 1 week block
False punishments Punishing others for no reason is prohibited in the wiki. Warning
Necroposting Commenting on a post that is more than 2 weeks old. This rule does not apply to wiki staff, Warning
False Reporting Reporting a comment/post that does not go against the guidelines. Warning

If you notice anyone that is disobeying these rules, do not hesitate to report them.

How the system works

Whenever you violate a rule, you will receive the punishment listed. If it says “warning,” then you will have a warning marked for your account. If you are to receive three warnings, the next violation will result in a block being applied to your account, varying on duration based on what the offenses were. Staff reserve the right to choose the block length. Staff also have the right to punish you for something that is not on the Guidelines, if they deem an action unneeded/unacceptable. Warnings are removed after 3 months. Staff should log warnings/punishments in Staff:PunishmentLog.

Appeals

If you receive a punishment that you wish to protest, create a topic on your message wall on why you wish to appeal your punishment. Tag the acting staff member. You can view who this is via. Staff:Punishment-log When you appeal please use the following format:

If you are unable to post a message on your message wall, that means that you are unable to appeal due to the severity of your infractions.
